A three-day event with scores of artists and performers opening their homes, galleries, theaters, businesses and studios for a self-guided and mapped tour, offering visitors an unmediated inside look into the artistic process and psyche. Participating artists consist of individuals with well-established and honored careers, as well as emerging artists striving to get their voice out there and make their mark.
Gristle Tattoo presents Nate Wilcox's first exhibition with the gallery. Wilcox's New Paintings and Prints will include 15 works created this year which focus on the planning and preparatory process used in the creation of oil paintings and is inspired by rough sketches, under paintings and preparatory three dimensional models.

The Horticultural Society of New York is pleased to present Field Recordings, a multimedia exhibition of works by Saul Becker and Stephen Vitiello. The exhibition explores how both artists collect fragments of the natural world and restage them as altered landscapes presented in multimedia sculptures, photographs, video, and drawings.
The third annual Chelsea Art Walk will take place on Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 5 pm to 8 pm. In addition to extended hours at all of the locations, there will be special events including talks by artists and curators, live performances, book signings and receptions.
