Beginning May 8, Friends of the High Line offers a free, guided walking tour every Tuesday at 6:30 PM. Walking tours are led by High Line Docents — volunteers with expertise on the High Line's history, design, horticulture, art, and more.
Ice-age glaciers, Native Americans, Dutch traders, British Redcoats, and the Underground Railroad have all left their mark on New York City. Their stories can be found in the names of our streets, our architecture, and our parks.
USP teamed with Big Onion Walking Tours to create a free, 90-minute walking tour Saturdays at 2 PM entitled Union Square: Crossroads of New York. The tour departs from the Abraham Lincoln Statue located along the 16th Street transverse.
